From the beginning of the 2007 recession, the bureaucracy allowed the investment banks and mortgage lenders to realize the greatest Ponzi scheme in history, with American taxpayers and sovereign wealth funds left with distressed debt.
VGI’s profits are achieved ethically. While having practiced real estate sales, President & CEO Mr. Villagómez generated much business for many lenders by assisting in securing the most affordable and convenient mortgages for the buyers. Mr. Villagómez discouraged Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARM), which are inherently predatory loans for unsophisticated buyers.
VGI finds financing from savvy investors, follows market markers, and uses insight and strategy in order to be profitable. In our pursuit of achieving this goal, we also fulfill a social obligation and patriotic duty. VGI cleans up the wreckage left behind by the corporate, financial and bureaucratic saboteurs.
VGI contributes to the stabilization of the market by taking valuable properties off the market which would hang about stagnant in an otherwise healthy community. Studies have seen crime rates increase by as much as 150% since 2006 in neighborhoods with high foreclosure rates. Nobody wants to take responsibility for the homes after they are abandoned. Communities that loose residents and produce abandoned properties attract squatters, looters and other sorts of criminals. Anything that can be stolen is stolen: appliances, fixtures, copper and metal plumbing, wiring, even windows and doors are stolen.
